Why You Should Exercise To Music From The 80s.

Music from the 80s is by far the most obvious choice when it comes to music for exercise.

Here is why: 80s music isn’t going to offend you.

I don’t know about you, but I’m over hearing about the sordid details of pop stars’ real or desired sex lives.  I get it, all music is about human emotion, but when I’m exercising I want a good beat and some recognizable lyrics. I don’t want to hear nasty rhymes that are going to make me want to throw up in my mouth. Which is why you won’t catch me wasting time with trashy music from today.  I’m 80s all the way. 
With 80s music you can expect epic raunch free lyrics that are filled with power chords.
It is a little known fact, that the more power chords you hear during a workout, the more calories you are going to burn.
Why? Power chords pump a person up. When you’re pumped up you’re moving around more. When you’re moving and grooving you’re burning more calories. Whether it is Whitney or Whitesnake with 80s music on your calorie burn will increase.
Last but certainly not least, exercising to songs from the 80s means you are way more likely to do something incredible during your training and even after your workouts. If you aren’t convinced just take a look at any montage and ask yourself, is it from the 80s? Yes.  Is the montage (awesome event) set to 80s music? Yes. The obvious conclusion is that when 80s music is on you are going to do more awesome things when you exercise.
